Knowledge and Gnosis – Samael

Samael is known as the archangel of venom. He is considered to be the poison of God  and a frightening being that I have been assured of was a great benevolence to me when I had first met him. I wasn’t even 10 years old when I had encountered him. I would blame my family for introducing me into paganism (how else would I have watched the 1996 film The Craft?) but my love for the T.V show Charmed meant that they cannot take full responsibility.  I remember being in the family room where my grandmother had her saints all placed on the ledge facing the couch. There was a statue of a man who was afflicted with injuries that had me curious. The statue was of Saint Lazarus and it was a statue that depicted all of his injuries in a fashion that had left an impression upon me. To this very day, I can still remember the statue in detail and the reason for that was I had seen a face emanate from it. 

The face was of man who was not well and seemed to be from a lower dimension. His hair was thick and in rolls of curls. He had a a distinctive beard that can change on its own from one style to another. I remembered being frightened but it was of Samael’s doing for me to know this spirit. I wasn’t the only person who had detected him, my grandmother did as well and was no doubt in my mind stunned. Why would the archangel do this? The spirit had spoke and had said “to remember of a sacrifice that was made”. In the past my grandmother had performed an nganga (hechizos/prenda/working/ritual) to prevent any dark spirits from entering the home, it is something that in the afterlife I believe my grandmother still performs in addition with my living family’s workings. 

Samael still had remained close. Showing me the spirits of the lower dimensions, he was ensuring that I would have the knowledge of a lifetime in regard to the spirit world, harmful spirits and non-human entities As close as Samael was, is exactly how close I was to my grandmother. I was always by her side. My grandmother was a God fearing woman who was of service (a lightworker in her own right) who had always insisted on the family protecting themselves and had taught my family along with myself to always rely on the Divine Realm in times of struggle as well as times of joy.

Samael has a conflicted history, but he can live up to the negative reputations as stated in goetic text. Though I myself wouldn’t consider him to be a demon, he is not exactly for the faint hearted should you aggravate him. Being an archangel of death as well (like his fellow sibling Azrael, they work together ever so often and do have great relationship), he can herald a time for war and is known for bringing forth temptation to see if a human can resist it. 

The day Samael is associated with is Tuesday. He is also associated with the planet Mars. Samael is known to appear quickly (it has been found in text if a person says his name often, he will make his presence known) and his action is swift. In a dream the Archangel Samael had revealed what would come to pass if there were any who had offended God (Creator). Humans can be easily swayed as they were offered free will, he tends to focus on those who have thirst for power. In other texts it is declared that Samael is the rival of the Archangel Michael. In my personal experience it’s simply the manner in which a conflict is addressed is where one can determine the difference. 

The Archangel Michael is known as the Archangel of Truth and Justice, in contrast the Archangel Samael is also known as the destroying angel. The Archangel Michael is known for always being righteous which is something that had infuriated the other Archangel who had accused him in a sense of trying to usurp The Creator. Michael is also the Archangel of Annihilation, which what would transpire upon him being summoned to perform that function, one would think it is the Archangel Samael. The Archangel Michael invokes the name of The Creator when in battle with an entity where I was told Samael did not have to, though Samael’s methods in defeating an entity is terrifying. 

The Archangel Samael has variations in the spelling of his name. The one that I had found to be common was his named spelled as Samiel. Samael is one of the 7 True Archangels in Christianity and is seen as a necessary being of existence  since he acts on the behalf of The Creator when he is enraged at those who have offended him/her.  Samael is known to pass judgment on sinners. His wraith can feel as if flames have engulfed the body. When I have communicated with the archangel (in a dream) he had appeared with a shroud of darkness to reveal his intention. He was speaking of individuals that had come to learn of me. What was shown was horrifying, but it was to remind me to stay on my path. It was to tell me to never cater to those who contradict my beliefs for I had been correct (accurate) in a conflict. 

After a series of attacks that had stemmed from novice goetians (what I would believe  to be worse than the average goetian, since they themselves acknowledge laws) he had stated he had been tackling these unknown harmful individuals. It was deemed that they were a threat to any practitioner of any faith. It became known to me that they had offended many pantheons, including the archangels and they were suffering consequences for their actions. For some reason all of their negative experiences with spirituality and beyond they had attributed to the paganism community, specifically lightworkers and goetians. 

They had decided to set their sights upon me and refused to move on until they achieved their goal of causing harm. I have had entities summoned to me by this cabal since the year of 2020, the Archangel Michael and the Archangel Gabriel (and other beings as well) had addressed the entities in such a fashion, I would’ve thought their direct intervention would have deterred anyone from behaving malevolently. Unfortunately they are still practicing harmfully to this very day with no concept of the law of cause and effect from what I have been told by my guides. 

Samael is an archangel they have no experience with and if they have in the past, it was not pleasant for I did sense an energy of fear when speaking about the archangel’s introduction to the conflict. A reading to determine the nature of an attack (along with readings from other psychic mediums/lightworkers) proved that they had failed to engage the aspects of self-transformation one would normally achieve in the pursuit of spiritual knowledge. They were/are ego-based individuals, others had already stated they are just simply evil. Either way, Samael is great to call upon for matters that involve an entity that simply won’t leave. He is on par with the archangels Uriel, Gabriel, Michael and beings from other pantheons such as the death deities, those of truth and justice and those of action (war deities such as Oya, Chango, Horus, Sekhmet, Athena, Aries and many more).
