Working with the Spirits
Do you believe in Animism? Spirits existing in all matter that makes up the Earth? What if I told you it was the truth? Everything on this Earth is a container for energy and is energy. If humans inhabit the Earth then of course human spirits are very real and many individuals have documented their experiences with them over the centuries. Human spirits aren’t the only forces that have contacted the living. From archangels to light beings that can make up a pantheon, humans had no other choice but to call them gods, they are very real. How does one contact them? How come only the few were contacted as opposed to all of humanity as one could think of the skeptics to the phenomenon?
In the earlier time of man it was no secret that nature was a contributing factor in the evolution of the species. To say there was no influence from a higher intelligence would be absurd to many believers today of the psychic phenomena and of religion. High vibrational beings or better yet extra terrestrial beings know who is fit to perceive them. As thoughts of extra terrestrials physically arriving on the planet may fill the mind, we can all say they visited the humanity psychically. One can think of the Abrahamic texts which led to the construction of the Bible. Apart from books being omitted and editing of original texts, Christianity has many followers who will always refer to it as evidence that God is real. I believe all humans have within their subconscious the knowledge of The Creator, Christianity is just another path to return to him/her.
I disregard any text that is with the notion of the Divine Realm being prejudice or being opposite of the frequency of love (as with any of the other religions that I have come to know of). Knowing that there are worlds that are just like Earth (free will planets), for the Divine Realm to express anger or wrath is what it would be expected. Not everyone is Law of One. From tales of these beings depicted on cave walls, these high vibrational beings have been with humanity every step of the way.
Along with these high vibrational beings there are the spirits from various dimensions. Some benevolent to humans and of course those that are not. Apart from Law of One worlds and the Divine Realm, there are always places where you can encounter baneful entities which can be the cause for fear amongst many. Never live in uncertainty! In part two of working with the spirits I will discuss how to banish unruly, negative spirits.
What are the signs that spirits or high vibrational beings are attempting to contact you? The most famous example is a loved one that has passed on. All of a sudden you start to see little things that pertain to them. You can start to have dreams pertaining to them. From there the signs can become dominant. Smelling an old perfume or the scent of their favorite foods. From songs coming on the radio to even synchronicities such as repeating numbers (synchronicities/angel numbers)if you think of high vibrational beings.
Remember, there are others who are more sensitive to the spirit world than perhaps you are. There are times when I have asked my own guides how others have missed the obvious conclusions of a spirit or the Divine Real making contact. They have stated that they were simply not paying attention. Based off of my own knowledge and experience, not every spirit is grandiose in terms of announcing their presence. Some of the signs I have witnessed were sounds (keep in mind I am psychic medium), scents, touching of the shoulder and of course the spirit and/or being appearing before me. I can see them clearly in my mind standing there in the same space with me. I have had my focus be drawn to what others would be considered the mundane but have a spiritual significance for myself or a client.
It is important to develop your own innate gifts that every human possesses in order to be connected to the spiritual world and of course the dimensions that are higher. Every pagan/witchcraft/lightworker book mentions it! To train the mind, the senses specifically, to be able to perceive and detect beyond the physical reality is important when engaging spirits. It is also of the upmost importance to aim for proficiency as well in order to comprehend high vibrational beings and the spirits as symbolism is another focus in spirituality. Honing your intuition is an integral part of every spiritual journey.

How to identify spirits
Before I delve into summoning (invocation) of spirits, let me cover on how to identify spirits you may have around you and how to differentiate between common benevolent spirits and high vibrational beings. Sometimes you do not know who is trying to communicate with you and that is completely normal! To depart from the notion of loved ones and ancestors always being the source of spiritual activity, more than often it can be a foreign spirit passing by. I thought of myself and all my encounters with the spirits.
So much of my history with spirits involve humans who have arrived at my location either after passing on or they wander and stumble upon my location after transitioning. After spirits have crossed over (either on their own or with assistance), they do on occasion return to visit and deliver messages. Some I have formed wonderful relationships with and others are apart of the personal journey or for a client, either way the spirits are always around and aid in protection.
Since I always have my spirit guides around the are extremely direct in addressing any situation with a spirit that is in torment. Sometimes my guides are the ones who communicate with the spirits who have gone through trauma so their messages can be delivered safely to me. It’s a method I implore everyone to follow for safety is always a priority. They of course lend the traumatized spirit a hand so the spirit can progress on their journey.
I had gone over the obvious signs of when a spirit is around and when they want to contact a person directly. The first tool utilized in profiling a spirit is your intuition. How do you feel when you believe you have a spirit around you? Is the energy benevolent? Is it oppressive or negative? Only you can determine that. If you are unsure, you can always call for assistance. It is quite common to think of calling archangels, but sometimes they do not appear as fast as one would like or one can think they didn’t hear the call. One of the best ways to ensure that you are protected is to call upon beings of light or ancestors in heaven. Ascended Masters are a great group of beings to think of and are wonderful in aiding for spirit communication and protection. Here is a short list of Ascended Masters taken from the books listed below. Know that there is so many and that you are not limited to this list.
The Mighty Dead by Christopher Penczak
Divine Masters, Ancient Wisdom by Kyle Gray
Master Kuthumi also known as Koot Hoomi, is an Ascended Master whose origin stems from the country of India and was discovered by the very famous Helena P. Blavatsky. Associated with the golden ray of wisdom, he is phenomenal as acting as a facilitator in spirit communication. He can offer protection and guidance in terms of expanding your intuitive abilities.
Master Hiliarion also known as Saint Hiliarion, is a great resource of knowledge and safety. If you ever feel far from ease, you can call upon him for an added protective measure. Getting rid of negative energies is something he is truly gifted in. Affiliated with emerald ray, he can assist with healing journey as well as introducing boundaries (which is necessary) for working with spirits.
El Morya or simply Morya (Master Morya) is an ally to humans with strong connections to the Archangel Michael. Another being that is synonymous with protection, he is powerful in creating boundaries as well. Rumored to be on of the emperors in Atlantis, he is a marvelous being to retrieve information from. A part of the blue ray, call him for whatever matters that cause nervousness. He can clear away any negative energies or negative vibrations.
Marie Laveau or Master Marie (I tend to call her Master Laveau) is exceptionally amazing to work with. The Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, who better than her to assist with communicating with spirits. I would associate Marie Laveau with the Violet Ray since she was a practitioner of the African/Hatian tradition of Vodou, mixed with facets of Catholicism, a unique practice that I believe many are familiar with. You often see her depicted in television/film as someone or something frightening, I can assure you, she is very kind and a bit of a mother figure. An elder witch is definitely something you can attribute to her as she is even viewed as a goddess (lwa) in non-European traditions.
There are so many ascended masters you can call for protection and assistance. Like I had stated prior, you are not limited to the list above. You can even call upon them for guidance on your spiritual path as I thought of Serapis Bey and naturally Jesus Christ (Master Jesus). You can always call on Christ if you ever feel unsafe.
Divination
A way to identify spirits that is a wonderful method for many practitioners/lightworkers is divination tools. They are outstanding in terms of creating a profile for spirits and high vibrational beings, especially if your gifts are not exactly at a level of proficiency that would allow for clear answers to be perceived. Please keep mind even seasoned Psychic Mediums still use divination tools as well either personally or professionally. I of course love divination tools! Never feel any shame in using them or relying on them. Take note, mediumship is considered to be a part of divination, so go ahead and purchase that spirit board or pendulum or learn to make your own! Even Tarot can even be used in mediumship.
Either with your gifts or a divination tool, here are some questions you should ask the spirit or high vibrational being you believe is trying to contact you.
- Their name
- Where are they coming from
- Their intention (reason)
Sometimes spirits aren’t always forthcoming, but if they are incredibly secretive it is normal to allow for suspicion. Remember use your intuition. How do you feel as the information is being revealed? Does it resonate with everything else you had experienced prior to contact? Is the spirit content, joyful? Or is the spirit a bit angry or upset? Is the spirit in need of assistance? Can you perceive what they look like in your mind? When you tune in psychically or perform a reading, try to understand their vibration towards you. It can be detected via any divination tool.
Once you know their name and where they come from (they can come from other worlds and/or dimensions) as well as their intention, you can begin your journey with the particular spirit. I can assure you that a high vibrational being will not allow any room for confusion. A little bit of research and/or a communication with someone who is of the faith, you will receive validation of your experiences and confirmation that is the high vibrational being attempting to communicate with you. A good portion of the services I provide allows me to provide testament that a client is being guided by a member of the Divine Realm. It is a joyous experience for myself and the client. It genuinely allows the high vibrational being to be very direct with the client to giveaway for further guidance in their life.
4. Verification
When communicating with a spirit it is important to verify the information you are receiving. Can you say the say the information is factual? Does it resonate? You have the right to ask questions, just remember to treat the spirit like you would treat a fellow human being. On occasion it may be a spirit guide attempting to form the personal relationship required to guide an individual.
After taking all the appropriate and very necessary steps, you can continue on your path with the spirit.
Types of Relationships
Spirit Guides
A spirit guide is a being/spirit that is a forever friend that may not always be a part of your journey in this life. As your path is forever evolving, they can come and go or they can be with you for extended periods of time. Sometimes it can be simply a month or two. The length of time is determined by the spirit guide and the Divine Realm as well as the human. They are of service to you and only want the best for you.
They can have distinct personalities and their mannerisms can differ from the individual they are guiding. Remember to communicate with your spirit guides and let them know of anything that makes you uncomfortable. Some guides arrive for specific reasons. They can act as a mediator between you and other spirits and of course provide insight into any conflict you have in your life. Always treat them with respect.
Loved Ones
Family Members
Family members are always the hardest in a sense to have nearby considering you had shared a life with them. Whether it be a grandparent, mother or father or an aunt or uncle, it is painful at times. After they have transitioned (passed on) to the other side, it is common to receive signs from them after their passing. In most cases it’s to assure their loved ones on the physical (3rd dimension) that they are alright.
Sometimes no signs are received and the reason for that occurring is because the spirit is on a new spiritual journey. There is life in the afterlife. The spirits are busy! They are in the next phase of their existence. They are figuring out what lies ahead and many have their lives reviewed. From the determination of high vibrational beings they set forth on their afterlife. As time passes by it is safe to contact (summon) them. Some say after six months, I prefer to say a year. There are extreme cases where they make themselves known after death and that pertains to their loved one in dire straits or other unfinished business that is plaguing them. Sometimes a spirit can be stuck for they cannot let go of the life they had on Earth (sudden death). If you are an experienced psychic medium (or just comfortable helping stuck spirits and you are new) you can encourage them to cross over. You can also can also call on a high vibrational being to assist.
The length of time being determined of loved ones attempting to contact a deceased family member directly pertains to the grieving process. For the loved ones still on the physical dimension it is important for them to begin the understanding of the new reality of their loved one has physically died. It is a life adjustment and the emotional aspects as well as the psychological impact that death can have on the living is of a nature that requires a lot of self-care. It requires privacy and understanding. Death is apart of life, it is always meant to teach the living appreciation of life in it and of itself.
Partners/Soul Mates
No one knows what it’s like to lose a husband or wife unless you have yourself. To lose a partner (whether it’s an actual marriage or not is irrelevant) it is a separation that is so painful it can feel as though you have lost a part of yourself. The same occurs as the loss of a family member but given the nature of a romantic relationship, the connection to the deceased is different. It is a unique bond and when true love is involved the energetic cords never break, they simply change. Sometimes a spouse/partner or soul mate becomes a temporary guide in your life. Other times they only make contact to provide closure. Some of the most benevolent stories are the ones that involve soul gates (merging of souls), leading the living mate to the next soul mate and of course the spirit protecting their partner for as long as their partner is alive.
A subject that some may shy away from that I do believe needs to be addressed is romantic relationships between the living and the deceased partner (or any spirit that you form a relationship with that is of that nature). Between thinking of the harsh stereotypes of pagans to films/tv shows featuring a romantic partner reaching out towards a soul mate (the film Ghost and any tv series featuring the paranormal), sex is a part of life and it is a norm in relationships. Although the relationship is different, it can happen when your husband/wife/partner passes on. From dreams (including astral projection and/or lucid dreaming) to genuine psychic experiences, there are many individuals who have had shared time with their partner and it had been a positive impact on their lives.
If a person is forming a relationship with an unknown spirit, know that you should never be uncomfortable in those interactions. There are benevolent spirits (as I thought of soul mates who may have passed on who are strangers to an individual) who may form those types of relationships with humans and I do believe (after some research and discussion) they prefer for those interactions to be kept confidential. Know that it will always be between the person and the spirit, just as any intimate relationship would be with a living partner. They’re are certain things you disclose and other things you would not. Everything would be at the persons (human’s) discretion and keep in mind of how the spirit would feel if those experiences were discussed in detail.

Ancestors
What conversation would it be in the paganism/lightworker community without mentioning ancestors? Family is important, as I had covered loved ones previously, think of the extended family members whom you may have known but not as well as your immediate family. Know that this does not exclude close family members as they have now joined the team of spirits of the family line. The known ancestor spirits can offer guidance and counsel. They offer a tremendous amount of protection. I think of a dream I had where my grandmother was walking a long the shore line of a beach. A gentle reminder she is always around myself and my family. She is always in constant communication with other ancestors (as she would be if she were on the physical dimension). I work often my ancestors. They are so very kind! They exude Latin, African, Indigenous and European culture in their own unique way and ensure that traditions do not get lost with time.
There are also Ancestors who are unknown who one can be considered from a different time. Some can be from the 20th century and older. They can also give monumental spiritual experiences and reconnect an individual to their history. My advice is to get to know them and honor them. All these spirits have had a hand in an individuals existence. Every loving thought and sacrifice is the reason everyone is here on Earth sharing this time together. Celebrate your heritage!
Galactic/Star Ancestors
There is not a lightworker and/or practitioner who isn’t aware of the soul’s journey through the cosmos. Many of the people living on Earth have past lives on other planets and have extensive history on these other worlds. I have connections with the Pleiadians, Lyrans, Venusians and many more. I am (and many others) a very old soul that has a large star family as well that I speak to and have wonderful relationships with with.
It’s no surprise upon discovery on the lightworker journey, familiar names will surface and you can come to find that a certain god or goddess is a part of a star family. Some may think of the Council of Light (Master Jesus is apart of the council as well as Buddha), know that reaching out to your own star family is encouraged. The same methods that are employed for contacting the high vibrational beings is one of the ways a star family can be contacted.
The Fae
Did an image of a human like being with delicate wings come to mind when anyone mentions the Fae? There are stories of the fae being apart of existence throughout time as they appear in folklore from the Middle Ages. As a practitioner, working with the elemental forces that include the Fae (undines, air slyphs, salamanders and gnomes), they are beautiful and powerful beings. The Fae I call upon are of extreme benevolence (beings of pure love) as there are varying tales of them being tricksters or some individuals even equating them to being entities of harm. I feel as though discernment is necessary (do extensive research) and know to always arrive from a place of respect. They are a bit different than other beings and their temperaments vary. Their realm is very real physical plane of existence. I have read and been told to never offend them for they do not mean us harm and coexist with humanity.
Ascended Masters
I had mentioned Master Jesus as well other masters previously in this post, in this section of this post I wanted to cover a bit more on what ascended masters are. Also considered to The Mighty Dead, ascended masters are beings that once were spirits who completed so many feats and/trials and have rose (ascended) and have met all the requirements to become an ascended master. Upon meeting the Creator (some might say after merging with the higher self), the human spirit that has shed all physical desire to inhabit a physical form will become an ascended master. As for reincarnation (as many ascended masters have had plenty of life cycles on Earth and other worlds), I have been told it is the higher self that reincarnates into the next life and a newer higher self is created and assigned for the next journey.
Many ascensionists can speak of the path that so many on Earth have taken over the centuries (ascension seekers). I myself am an ascensionist (Law of One practitioner), I have worked with ascended masters and they have mentioned that even some individuals have ascended right after death as one can famously think of Christ. Not every ascended master is from Earth! Ascended masters can be known and unknown. Some masters wish to not have their names revealed or that they are working with a human. Ascended masters can be apart of the hidden company. They are great to work with and can act as spirit guides for many.
Gods
Gods and goddesses are apart of the pagan/lightworker way of life. From African pantheons as one may think of the Egyptian pantheon and West African traditions to the Norse and Celtic pantheons, they are deemed essential to paganism. As for every religion around the world with a Law of One ideaology at its core (skipping over goetic religions) they are astonishing work with. I have had so many beneficial relationships with gods and goddesses, I could never dislike anyone.
The only thing the gods and goddesses can ask from anyone who is a novice is to do research and don’t lose patience! They look for hard work as well as dedication to the study. They can give visions and teach so much. Never covet others! Rewards come in time and self-transformation is an expected so that you can be the best version of yourself and for your highest good. The evolved human is what the Divine Realm is seeking from humanity (elevation of the planet).
Archangels
The Creator/God’s celestial messengers and the architects of the Universe. Intelligent superior high vibrational beings (I have even heard the term referring to them as high frequental beings) that had assisted the Creator in constructing the multi dimensional world humans have been aware of (evolution within creation). You may know of them from the Abrahamic traditions such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam, perhaps others may have stumbled across them in pagan studies. They have been more vocal this time now than any other time in history as they often speak of the path for Earth. Myself and countless others around the world have received their messages and have been relaying their words for the public.
To work with the archangels is a phenomenal experience as each one of them are distinct in nature and all have assigned roles for Earth. As they govern other worlds they are integral in overseeing all the ongoings of the Universe. There is a hierarchy that they adhere to. From the Elohim to the Seraphim and the famous Ophanim (wheels), Earth has been visited by these beings who instantly command respect at the mere presence of them.
There is not one archangel that I haven’t worked with or spoken to at least briefly, keep in mind there are so many I haven’t met them all. They are always busy and since Earth is a free will planet, it can be difficult to steer humanity in the right direction. It is what the Creator intended to be the path of man. It was for them as a species to evolve and know of their true origin, for they had came from the Creator. To choose the Creator is all an archangel can ask from a human.
As stated previously, each archangel is unique and not all may have personalities that everyone may like. I thought of the Archangel Uriel who always has a vibration of seriousness as the Archangel Azrael who radiates a vibration of peace and at times eeriness (Archangel of Death). The Archangel Michael is the most noticeable and expresses authority in contrast to the Archangel Gabriel arrives with a sense of joy (Gabriel can perform the same functions as Michael to give a perspective). Metatron is the archetype of a master teacher and stated to be the Creator in disguise (avatar). Do some exploration in the lore of angels and archangels as they can directly influence humanity when the needed for the grand design (The Creator’s plan for man to return to him).
The Creator/God/The Supreme Creator/Creator in Disguise/Star Goddess/Great Spirit
The Supreme Being, YHWH (Yahweh), The God from The Bible, Allah, Star Goddess, The Creator has gone by so many names throughout the ages that many can forget in a sense we are all praying to the same being. He has utilized the archangels and angels to carry out his word, but what is to say humans haven’t heard from the Creator directly. Many may know of this but I will assume not all do, but sometimes when you are being visited by an archangel, it can very well be the Creator in disguise. He can appear in the form of anyone and is an existential force. Matter of fact, many have most likely conversed with the Creator and didn’t even know. In paganism he is expressed as the God and the Goddess (Lord and Lady).
Humans think of God as elderly man on a throne, but The Creator can arrive in any form. The Creator can be masculine or feminine, young or old. The Creator can appear as a galactic being or an unknown god or goddess. If archangels are around in abundance, The Creator is not too far behind. Upon my research I had found that if a person sees the divine/angel number 000, they very well maybe The Creator in disguise as in The Creator is acting through you.
The Creator can control just about anyone in the Universe or dare I say the multiverse. Monotheistic religions in theory only worship the Creator (God), his power is recognized throughout the cosmos. Beings that are loyal to him will claim that they are Law of One. The 7 Hermetic Principles/The 7 Spiritual Laws of the Universe are the rules that govern the all. Each religion throughout the world has incorporated these laws to one extent or another.
Apart from the archangels, many Law of One beings that have visited Earth and act on the behalf of the The Creator. They make up the ancient pantheons and had chosen to come to Earth knowing The Creator’s plans. It has been stated that the heads of every pantheon are high vibrational beings that are The Creator in disguise (direct avatars). The concept of man was a controversy for the simple reason it would be a species that would take ages to have the intelligence seen in the modern time. The Creator is known for his patience as many beings can speak of it. The Creator exists within all things and is omnipresent much like the archangels.
When performing divination, the individual is connecting with what is known as Great Spirit, a facet of The Creator (shard). The Creator knows of every timeline, every path and every living being in existence. There is no creation he is not aware of. Known as the being of true love his/her guidance arrives in every reading in whatever form of divination a human can engages in. As one thinks of psychic mediums, he is aware of every single one. The psychic senses are often referred to as gifts for that very reason.
Given The Creator’s nature, he does not like to interfere with free will (I believe he/she is always testing for loyalty). At times his/her plans are not always revealed and there are sources cited that even archangels may not know of what may come to pass. Direct intervention of The Creator can occur when he/she senses an interruption of his /her’s plans. I have asked my guides questions in regards to the feared wrath that is spoken of in historical texts such as The Bible. I have received confirmation that it is frightening as all the stories that have portrayed The Creator discontentment with creation. As The Creator is the embodiment of unconditional love, I have equated his/her rage as an astronomical expression of outrage as the ancients had referred to natural disasters as a reflection of his/her unhappiness.
Know that The Creator is a being you can always pray to and while he/she may not directly respond (he/she may have a high vibrational being deliver his/her response), The Creator genuinely cares for all. Never lose sight of it.
