𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬?

Grief is the physical acknowledgment of loss. While most people are familiar with personal grief through death, the end of a relationship, or financial hardship, collective grief is far more difficult to recognize and discuss. It is one of the most unusual forms of grief, yet it remains a widely experienced expression of loss that can be witnessed and, at times, physically felt by entire communities.

Earlier yesterday, I was outside drafting my next posts and upcoming advertisements for H.G.A Medium when a sound interrupted my thoughts.

𝑪𝑨𝑾! 𝑪𝑨𝑾! 𝑪𝑨𝑾!

I lifted my head to find the source of the call. There, perched atop the tallest tree in my immediate surroundings, was a large and beautiful crow commanding the attention of everything nearby. It had succeeded. I paused and listened. The crow clearly carried a message and seemed unconcerned with who heard it or how far its voice would travel. Following the oldest traditions of interpretation, when a crow visits you or persistently captures your attention, it is often believed to signify the following:

—Transformations are occurring

—Higher awareness of the web of life

—The unseen world

In certain traditions, such as Native American, West African, Norse, Greek and Celtic mythology, the crow symbolizes the divine thought of the gods or God, keepers of sacred law, and prophecy. Knowing this, I began to listen carefully.

𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑰 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚.

“A betrayal of natural law has been committed. The vibration of that transgression has echoed throughout creation, and the world has been altered by its consequence. Hear this warning: a great system now stands upon the edge of its own collapse.

Chaos shall rise. Brutality shall follow. Yet you have been set apart. Do not surrender to fear, for you are being spared, as are many others who have been called according to divine purpose.

There is only one of me, and from the depths comes that which hungers for them all. You, and those who stand with you, must not falter. Persevere through the darkness with unwavering resolve, for what has been foreseen cannot be overturned. The victory has already been written, and what has been ordained shall surely come to pass.”

I was a bit shaken, as the message conveyed a much larger impression of a world undergoing painful transformation. Even when statements such as these are written or spoken, they rarely capture the true nature of change unless you witness or personally experience the process yourself. It is remarkably easy to pass judgment on a conflict or battle you are never required to endure.

Many people, myself included, feel compelled to act in some way, whether by offering support or bringing greater awareness to what is unfolding. A wise man once said, “People live in ponds and never think of the oceans that can change the coastline.” His words stayed with me. Yet the moment I considered how readily someone could argue in favor of isolationism, I realized what I know now just as I did then. People choose what they want to pay attention to. When a coastline disappears, far more than the shoreline is affected. Entire systems are disrupted, and even the most secluded pond can feel the consequences. In this day and age, no one is truly isolated from the changes taking place around them.

Returning to the subject of collective suffering, how does one create meaningful change that brings an end to the suffering of entire populations and, of course, marginalized groups? That question has always been one of humanity’s greatest challenges. There have been many celebrated victories, yet they have often been accompanied by profound, soul felt frustration. When I step into political discussions or communities that speak of a “new Earth” as though a unified world is just around the corner, I cannot help but feel a deep sense of sadness. The vision is inspiring, but the reality of the work still before us is impossible to ignore. Myself and many others share this strong sentiment.

𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒓𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆.

Where are those bringing forward the messages of ascended, advanced civilizations that witnessed the rise and eventual collapse of their own unified worlds? Where are the voices attempting to steer humanity away from a future that is becoming increasingly possible? For those who have shared such experiences or possess an innate sense of knowing, these messages are held in the highest regard.

Why are there not more thoughtful discussions about religion that seek to unite people instead of dividing them through outdated translations? Much of sacred scripture was written for a particular political climate and a specific period in humanity’s history.

If poverty remains a reality throughout America and across the world, then the Bible ultimately speaks only to those willing to listen and does not exert a universal divine influence. We must also remember that there are still those who distort sacred texts to shape societies into the image of a lesser and more limited humanity, and that remains a serious concern even today.

The text now serves primarily as a moral guide. At its heart are the Ten Commandments, the teachings of Jesus Christ, the rebel who frightened the establishment through his love and divine light, and who was put to death because of it, alongside accounts of lived human experience and profound psychic and spiritual encounters.

Remember, science exists for a reason—and so do historians. God is deemed to be very real by millions, and I myself wouldn’t argue his or her’s existence, but so are the wellness and medical professionals asking you to take care of yourself.

If the world is suffering, turn inward and reconnect with the divine within you. Then ask yourself, where can you genuinely help? Are you the one experiencing personal suffering? Are you grieving alongside others? There are many people who are sincerely willing to help, even if their voices are not always heard. They are there.

Grief can feel overwhelming and paralyzing, but you do not have to carry it alone. Society often reveals the symptoms of deeper conditions that no intelligent and compassionate person, particularly within Western democracies, would willingly accept in their own lives. Yet those conditions continue to exist.

Every soul has the capacity to create meaningful change without diminishing another person. We can strengthen the foundations that support lasting progress for the benefit of everyone and help ease suffering, especially during seasons of endurance and uncertainty. Many people are called to become facilitators of change, whether for an individual seeking healing or for communities that have been overlooked and disenfranchised.

As a trauma coach specializing in grief, with a deep passion for neuropsychology, and as a psychic medium, there are few painful journeys I have not encountered. I believe every person has the ability to heal, grow, and become better. If you are seeking support on your personal journey, whether for wellness purposes or spiritual guidance, do not hesitate to contact me.
